SOA’s Institute of Agricultural Sciences wins top award at Outlook Agri-tech Summit

Bhubaneswar, Sept 11: At the Outlook Agri-tech Summit and Awards 2024 held in New Delhi on Sunday, the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) was honored with the 'Outstanding Agriculture Institute/University' award.

Prof. Santosh Kumar Rout, Dean of IAS, accepted the accolade from Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. Also present was Mr. Pritam Nayak, Officer-on-Special Duty to SOA Founder President Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak.

The award recognized IAS for its exceptional contributions to agricultural education, research, and technological innovation. The event, themed ‘Future of Farming: Sowing Seeds of Change,’ highlighted IAS’s role as a leader in advancing agricultural practices. Prof. Rout noted that this accolade marks a significant achievement for the institute, underscoring its role in shaping the future of Indian agriculture.
