Adani family announces ‘Mangal Seva’ initiative ahead of Jeet Adani’s wedding

New Delhi, Feb 5: As Jeet Adani, the younger son of billionaire Gautam Adani, prepares for his wedding, the Adani Group has launched a new philanthropic initiative, Mangal Seva, aimed at supporting newly married women with disabilities. Under this program, 500 such women will receive financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each year.
Just two days before his wedding, Jeet Adani welcomed 21 newly married divyang women and their husbands to his home, marking the official launch of the initiative. Jeet is set to marry Diva Shah on February 7, 2025, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Gautam Adani shared his pride and joy on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting that his son and daughter-in-law are beginning their journey together with a noble cause. He stated that through Mangal Seva, the couple aims to bring dignity and happiness to the lives of many disabled women and their families. Blessing Jeet and Diva, he expressed hope that they would continue on the path of service.
Jeet Adani currently serves as Director of Adani Airport Holdings, India’s largest airport infrastructure company, overseeing operations at eight airports. He also leads the Adani Group's ventures in defence, petrochemicals, copper, and digital transformation.
Deeply inspired by his mother, Dr. Priti Adani, who expanded the Adani Foundation from a small rural project in Mundra to a global force for change, Jeet is committed to philanthropic efforts, with a special focus on supporting people with disabilities.
