Swetashree Mohapatra emerges as topper in Odisha Civil Services exam; 683 candidates pass
Bhubaneswar, Oct 19: A total of 683 candidates have successfully passed the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2022, as announced by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Saturday. Swetashree Mohapatra emerged as the top candidate, followed by Prinkil Parbin Parida in second place and Dipti Ranjan Pati in third.
Among the top 10 candidates, five are women, and a total of 258 women qualified for the examination. The selection of candidates was based on their performance in the main written examination and a subsequent personality test. Those who passed will be appointed to various posts and services under the Odisha Civil Services (Group-A and B) for 2022.
Candidates can check their results by visiting the OPSC's official website at www.opsc.gov.in, according to a press release from the Commission.
Of the 92,914 applicants, 40,586 participated in the preliminary exams held on October 15, 2023. A total of 8,220 candidates cleared the preliminary stage, with 6,639 advancing to the main examinations conducted between February 25 and March 3, 2024. Out of these, 1,367 candidates were invited for the personality test.
