Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: The Shambhavi Puraskar, instituted by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) in 2014, celebrates the tireless efforts of individuals driving social transformation in Odisha.

This prestigious award recognizes their dedication to uplifting communities and connects them to a wider network of social investors and organizations, amplifying their impact.

The award’s cash prizes have been significantly increased. The main recipient will now receive a citation, trophy, and a cash prize of ₹5,00,000, up from ₹2,50,000. Additionally, the Jury Commendation Certification prize has been doubled to ₹1,00,000, along with a citation.

Nominations are open for the 12th edition of the award. Interested individuals or organizations can apply at www.bipf.org.in.

Winners are chosen based on criteria such as impact, sustainability, community participation, scalability, innovation, and the number of beneficiaries. A distinguished jury comprising leaders from various fields selects the awardees.
