Odisha’s top sports award, Ekalabya Puraskar-2025, seeks nominations

Bhubaneswar, April 1: Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), managed by IMFA Group, has announced the call for nominations for the prestigious 33rd Ekalabya Puraskar-2025. This esteemed annual sports award recognizes outstanding young sportspersons of Odisha and carries a cash prize of Rs 7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Only) for the main awardee.

Additionally, two citation awards will be conferred, each carrying a cash prize of Rs 1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Aspiring candidates must submit their nominations through recognized sports organizations, Boards, Associations, Universities, Colleges, or Schools within Odisha. To be eligible, candidates must be under 25 years of age as of 31st March 2025.

Applications should include documented proof of age along with detailed performance records at State, National, and International level competitions over the past two years, from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2025.

The deadline for submission is 31st May 2025. Nominations can be sent to Ekalabya Puraskar, IMPaCT, IMFA Building, Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar-751010. Alternatively, applications can be emailed to ekalabya@imfa.in, with supporting documents to be submitted separately to the postal address provided.
