Odisha to resume public grievance hearings from July 1

Bhubaneswar, June 27: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has mandated the restart of public grievance hearings across all government departments starting July 1.

Under the CM’s directive, these hearings will encompass all government departments, Heads of Departments, and Joint Hearings of Public Grievances conducted by Collectors and Superintendents of Police in their respective districts. All grievances presented during these sessions must be officially recorded on the Jana Sunani portal.

The decision to resume these hearings aims to bolster administrative transparency, according to sources. The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued notifications to all relevant authorities on Wednesday, outlining the reinstatement process.
