Koraput MP & Gunupur MLA included in Southern Odisha Development Council Task Force

Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: Koraput MP Saptagiri Ulaka and Gunupur MLA Satyajeet Gomango have been appointed as members of the Task Force for establishing the Southern Odisha Development Council (SODC). This decision was made by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, according to official sources on Tuesday.

The Task Force, chaired by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, originally consisted of nine members and three ex-officio members. With the inclusion of Ulaka and Gomango, the Task Force now comprises 11 members.

Previously, the Task Force included Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, Minister of State for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Gokulananda Mallik, Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi, Kandhamal MP Sukant Kumar Panigrahi, Digapahandi MLA Siddhant Mohapatra, Malkangiri MLA Narasingh Madkami, Paralakhemundi MLA Rupesh Kumar Panigrahi, Phulbani MLA Uma Charan Mallik, and Pattangi MLA Ramchandra Kadam.

The three ex-officio members are the RDC (Southern Division), the RDC (Central Division), and the managing director of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC).
