OJEE 2026 to be held from May 11; application process begins January 27

Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026 will be conducted from May 11, the Skill Development and Technical Education Department announced on Monday while releasing the academic schedule for the 2026–27 session. The state-level entrance test will be conducted in computer-based mode for admission to various professional and postgraduate courses.

According to the notification, the online application process for programmes such as BTech, BPharm, MCA, MSc, MBA, Nursing, MTech and MArch will begin on January 27 and continue till March 26. Candidates aspiring for admission to technical and management institutions across Odisha have been advised to apply within the stipulated timeline.

The OJEE 2026 examination is scheduled to be held from May 11 to May 17, with the results likely to be declared tentatively by May 31. Counselling for all OJEE courses, except MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS, will commence in the second week of June.

The department further informed that the Special OJEE for BTech, BPharm and lateral entry into BTech, MBA and MCA will be conducted tentatively from June 25 to June 30. Applications for the Special OJEE will be accepted during the first two weeks of June. The counselling process is expected to conclude by July 31, followed by college-level admissions from August 1 to August 15.
