Deputy CM promises inclusion of all Anganwadi workers in Subhadra Yojana's third phase

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: In a significant move, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that all excluded Anganwadi workers will receive assistance under the BJP's Subhadra Yojana in its third phase.

This assurance comes amid growing concerns regarding the exclusion of eligible beneficiaries in previous phases. Parida emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that no deserving Anganwadi worker is overlooked.

Initially, 2.67 lakh applications were rejected, prompting the Cabinet to decide on a comprehensive re-evaluation of these submissions to eliminate any potential errors. "This is the first time in history that a rejected list is being thoroughly reviewed," she stated, underscoring the government's proactive approach.

Detailed guidelines outlining the review process will be released on November 1. The Subhadra Yojana, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to eligible beneficiaries aged 21 to 60. This support will be distributed in ten installments of Rs 5,000 each, significantly enhancing the welfare of Anganwadi workers across the state.
