Amrit Mohanty of SOA set for international badminton challenge in Indonesia

Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: Amrit Mohanty, a fourth-year Computer Science Engineering student at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) under SOA Deemed to be University, is set to compete in the International Challenge in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia, from August 20 to 25. This will mark Mohanty's debut on the international stage.

Mohanty will be participating in the men’s doubles event, partnering with Abhijit Maharana. This international tournament represents a significant milestone in Mohanty’s badminton career.

In 2019, Mohanty achieved notable success at the state level, finishing as the runner-up in both the Under-19 boys singles and Under-17 boys doubles categories. His upcoming international participation is a testament to his growing skills and dedication to the sport.
