Another Mo Bus mishap in Bhubaneswar: Two critically injured

Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: Two individuals sustained severe injuries after being struck by a Mo Bus at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The victims, identified as Ranjit Behera and Hrudananda Mohanty, were waiting for an auto-rickshaw when the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to sources, Ranjit Behera suffered injuries to his right leg, while Hrudananda Mohanty sustained injuries to his shoulder and waist. Both had arrived in Bhubaneswar from Puri shortly before the accident. Following the mishap, they were immediately rushed to Capital Hospital for medical treatment.

Eyewitnesses alleged that the bus was being driven recklessly at the time of the accident. The incident has once again raised concerns over the safety of passengers and pedestrians due to rash driving by Mo Bus operators in the city.

Notably, this is not an isolated case. On February 6, two women were critically injured in a Mo Bus accident at Chandrasekharpur BDA Square. Similarly, on February 4, a minor girl was tragically crushed to death by a Mo Bus in Raghunathpur. Earlier, on January 4, multiple accidents involving a Mo Bus near Raj Mahal Square left several injured and damaged multiple vehicles.
