SOA University and ICT Mumbai sign MoU for enhanced academic collaboration

Bhubaneswar, July 22: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. This agreement aims to foster collaboration between the two institutions to improve the availability of highly skilled professionals in fields such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Technology, Biological Sciences, and related areas.

Under the MoU, SOA and ICT, Mumbai will facilitate increased interactions among their scientists, research fellows, faculty members, and students. The agreement, signed on Saturday by SOA’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, and ICT Mumbai’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aniruddha B. Pandit, includes provisions for personnel exchanges, joint conferences, seminars, and expert lectures.

The collaboration will also involve joint supervision of student projects and theses in areas of mutual academic interest, with ICT Mumbai providing guidance to SOA students. Both institutions will share access to their research and development facilities, as well as exchange software and other materials developed in-house.

Furthermore, ICT Mumbai will collaborate with start-up companies associated with SOA’s Centre for Innovation and Incubation (SOA-CII) and Atal Incubation Centre (AIC)-SOA Foundation, leveraging the local innovation ecosystem.
