PM Modi to address investors at Make in Odisha Conclave in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha for the second time this month to inaugurate the much-awaited Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 on January 28. Earlier, he addressed the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Sammelan on January 9.
As per official sources, PM Modi will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10:35 am and proceed to Janata Maidan, where the two-day conclave will be inaugurated at 11 am. During his 90-minute visit, he will address a gathering of industrialists and investors before departing for Dehradun.
The conclave, scheduled for January 28 and 29, will feature plenary sessions, sector-specific discussions, and networking opportunities with global leaders, policymakers, and investors. The event aims to attract domestic and international investments, positioning Odisha as the industrial hub of Eastern India.
This flagship event highlights Odisha’s industrial potential, strategic advantages, and growth opportunities, enhancing its reputation as a global economic contender. It also seeks to foster sustainable partnerships and investments in the state.
Ahead of the event, Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam visited Odisha, marking a significant milestone as Singapore became the first country partner for the Make in Odisha initiative. The Odisha government has also signed several MoUs with Singaporean firms to boost foreign investments and drive economic development.
