Major IPS reshuffle in Odisha: Suresh Dev Datta Singh appointed Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar, Sept 29: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Government of Odisha has announced the transfer and posting of several senior IPS officers. As per the notification released todfay  A.K. Ray, who is currently serving as Director, Printing, Stationery, and Publication, Odisha, Cuttack, has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of Prisons and Correctional Services.

Alongside A.K. Ray’s new posting, several other key IPS officers have been reassigned to crucial positions across the state. S.M. Narvane, who is currently Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Home Department, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as the new Director, Printing, Stationery, and Publication, Odisha, Cuttack.

Key Transfers:

Vinaytosh Mishra: Director, SCRB, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, is now posted as ADG, CID-CB

R.P. Koche, IPS: Addl. DG of Police SAP, Bhubaneswar, transferred as Director of

Sanjeeb Panda: Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, is appointed as ADG, Training, and Director, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA)

Radha Kishan Sharma: Addl. DG of Police (Headquarters), Cuttack, now posted as Special Secretary, Home Department (Order No. 35997/IPS).

Saumyendra Kumar Priyadarsi: Director of Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, is transferred as ADGP, Modernisation

Additional Appointments:

Santosh Bala, Special Secretary in the Home Department, has been appointed as Director, SCRB & SFSL.

Arun Bothra, previously Addl. DG of Police CID CB, is now posted as ADGP, Railways & Coastal Security.

Dr. Suresh Dev Datta Singh is appointed as Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.

Sanjay Kumar Kaushal will now serve as IGP, Vigilance Organization.
