Chief Minister honor Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das

Bhubaneswar, July 6: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, and other dignitaries, paid homage to Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das on his 96th death anniversary at the Assembly premises in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

"Gopabandhu Das was a revered figure and a champion of the underprivileged. Today, we gather here to honor his legacy, his selfless service to society, particularly during times of natural disasters such as floods, cyclones, and droughts," remarked Chief Minister Majhi during the commemoration.

As part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, the Chief Minister also planted a sapling on the Assembly grounds, joined by the Deputy Chief Minister and the Speaker.
