OPSC postpones Odisha Civil Services Preliminary exam due to cyclone Dana

Bhubaneswar, Oct 23: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the postponement of the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2023 due to the impending severe cyclonic storm Dana. In a recent notification, the OPSC informed candidates that the examination, which was originally slated for October 27, 2024, would be rescheduled to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, including candidates, examination staff, and other stakeholders.

The decision reflects the commission's commitment to prioritize public safety amid adverse weather conditions.
