V.K. Pandian reviews key projects, emphasizes student development in Gajapati

Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: In accordance with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's directives, V.K. Pandian, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, visited Gajapati District to assess the progress of diverse developmental projects and engage with students and the general public.
Participating in the Nua-O Program at Gajapati Stadium, Pandian interacted with students from all colleges in the district. The focus of the discussion was the Nua-O program, providing a platform for young individuals to exhibit their talents and fostering overall personality development alongside academic achievements. Pandian urged students to work diligently with self-confidence to attain success in life. He also assured that college transformation projects in the district would be completed by February.
Pandian conducted a thorough review of nine bridges, with a total cost of 54 crores, sanctioned after his last visit to the district in May 2023.
Subsequently, he evaluated several significant projects in the district, including the Chheligada Irrigation project (total cost of Rs 996 crores), Mega Piped Water Supply projects to Rayagada block (total cost of Rs 180.5 crores), Paralakhemundi Bypass Road (costing Rs 54 crores), development of various waterfalls and viewpoints (total cost of Rs 13.5 crores), and the development of Jeerango Monastery (costing Rs 2.68 crores), along with the enhancement of various major temples in the district.
These projects were initiated following Pandian's previous visit to Gajapati district in May 2023, during which he attended grievance meetings and gathered feedback from the public. Pandian further engaged with the public at Kashinagar and Ramagiri, addressing grievances on various issues and providing assurances of prompt resolution.
