Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Bhubaneswar for key political engagement

Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar on December 28 for a key political visit, which will span two days, concluding with his departure on the evening of December 29.
Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, the BJP's state in-charge, announced that Shah will not be visiting Sambalpur as previously planned. Following his arrival, the Home Minister will participate in a crucial video conference from Bhubaneswar, linking up with the BJP's national headquarters in Delhi. This meeting will involve party leaders from various states, including state unit presidents, organizational secretaries, in-charges, and national office bearers.
Additionally, a significant event is scheduled to take place at Kalinga Stadium, where Shah is expected to engage with BJP Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Parliament (MPs), and party workers, encouraging them to intensify their political efforts in the state.
Tomar confirmed that the Union Minister will stay overnight in Bhubaneswar and participate in programs at ITBP, a local university, and the sports stadium on December 29. He also emphasized that the party workers and government officials will collaborate to ensure the success of the visit. A strategic action plan for the BJP in Odisha will be developed following the national meeting.
