Odisha to build two new ESI hospitals in Keonjhar and Sonepur

Bhubaneswar, July 26: On Friday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi gave his approval for the establishment of two new Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Hospitals in Odisha.

These state-of-the-art facilities will be constructed in the towns of Keonjhar and Sonepur. The move is part of a broader initiative to enhance healthcare infrastructure and accessibility for workers across the region.

“The introduction of these ESI Hospitals will significantly benefit not only the workers but also their families by providing comprehensive medical care and support,” Chief Minister Majhi stated. This expansion is expected to improve the quality of healthcare services, reduce the burden on existing facilities, and ensure that workers receive timely and effective medical attention.

The new hospitals are anticipated to play a crucial role in strengthening the healthcare system in these areas and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
