Technical snag in helicopter disrupts CM Majhi’s Mayurbhanj visit

Bhubaneswar, Sept 22: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was forced to cancel his scheduled visit to Mayurbhanj on Sunday due to a technical fault discovered in his helicopter.
The incident occurred at the Raisuan airstrip in Keonjhar as Majhi was preparing to depart for Baripada. Instead of continuing by air, the Chief Minister opted to travel back to Bhubaneswar by road.
Majhi is currently on a three-day tour of Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, marking the completion of his government’s 100 days in office. Over the past two days, he participated in several programs in Keonjhar.
Sunday's itinerary included multiple engagements in Mayurbhanj, which were disrupted due to the helicopter issue. Authorities are looking into the mechanical problem, while the Chief Minister’s road journey has been arranged to ensure the continuation of his schedule in Bhubaneswar.
