Star Air launches new flight services linking Jharsuguda with Lucknow and Raipur

Bhubaneswar, Feb 1: In a significant advancement for regional air connectivity, Star Air has officially launched flight services linking Jharsuguda with both Lucknow and Raipur. The service to Lucknow commenced today, while flights to Raipur are set to start tomorrow.

The newly established route between Jharsuguda and Lucknow will operate three days a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights will depart from Jharsuguda at 4:35 PM, arriving in Lucknow at 6:55 PM. The return journey from Lucknow will begin at 7:25 PM, landing back in Jharsuguda at 8:45 PM on the same days.

In contrast, the Jharsuguda-Raipur route will feature flights four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. These flights will leave Jharsuguda at 6:35 PM, reaching Raipur by 7:25 PM, with the return flight scheduled to depart Raipur at 7:55 PM, arriving in Jharsuguda at 8:45 PM, according to Sandip Tiwari, Director of Veer Surendra Sai Airport.

Additionally, IndiGo is preparing to introduce direct flight services from Jharsuguda to Mumbai, starting March 1, further enhancing travel options for passengers in the region.
