CHSE announces tentative dates for Plus II exams starting February 2025

Bhubaneswar Aug 21: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has released the preliminary schedule for the annual Plus II board examinations, set to begin on February 15, 2025. This early announcement is designed to give students and schools ample time to complete the syllabus.
CHSE has also scheduled the practical exams to occur between December 26, 2024, and January 15, 2025. The board has stated that these dates may be subject to change, with any updates communicated through schools and colleges and posted on the board’s website. By providing this advance notice, CHSE aims to help students plan their studies effectively and manage their time, thereby reducing stress.
Board Chairman Prashant Kumar Parida made the announcement. Additionally, the Plus II exams in 2025 will feature a revised question paper format.
The theory exam will now be conducted for 80 marks, as opposed to the previous 100 marks. To pass, students must achieve at least 24 marks, representing 30% of the total. The remaining 20 marks will be allocated for internal assessments, but these internal marks will not affect the theory exam's pass or fail outcome.
