Fourth phase of Subhadra Yojana to be distributed in Jajpur tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Feb 7: The fourth phase of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana is set to be disbursed on February 8, in Jajpur district, benefiting nearly 18 lakh eligible women. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will oversee the distribution of funds during the event.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, this phase will push the total number of beneficiaries under the scheme beyond 98 lakh. She further stated that women who have faced delays in receiving their payments due to issues related to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) will be included in the next distribution round scheduled for March 8, 2025.
The Deputy CM urged beneficiaries to complete the necessary formalities, including NPCI verification and e-KYC updates, at their respective bank branches to avoid further delays in receiving financial assistance. She also assured that any pending first and second installments for eligible recipients will be disbursed on March 8.
Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, 2024, the Subhadra Yojana is a key welfare initiative aimed at strengthening the financial independence of women. The scheme has been implemented across all 30 districts of Odisha and continues to make a significant impact on women's empowerment.
With the clearance of pending applications, the government anticipates the total number of beneficiaries to surpass one crore, reaffirming its commitment to women's economic welfare and financial inclusion.
