Vlogger Laba Hansda accused of hiding marriage and daughter as police probe girlfriend’s death

Bhubaneswar, May 17: Popular travel vlogger Laba Hansda, who is currently under police scrutiny in Bengaluru over the suspicious death of his girlfriend, has now landed in fresh controversy in Odisha following serious personal allegations.

While the Bengaluru Police have already registered a case against him based on complaints by the deceased woman’s family, new claims suggest Hansda had concealed his marital status and fatherhood.

The family of the deceased has accused Hansda of being responsible for the emotional distress that allegedly led to her death, claiming he was involved with multiple women. As the investigation progresses, a man claiming to be Hansda’s father-in-law has surfaced, stating that the vlogger is already married and has a daughter.

The matter has drawn widespread attention on social media, with the man's video alleging that Hansda lives separately from his wife and child. Adding weight to the claim, Budhirai Hansda, a cousin of Laba, confirmed, “Laba has been married for a long time. His wife lives and works in Bhadrak, and they have a daughter. We are not aware of any other relationships he may have.”

The fresh allegations have intensified public scrutiny, complicating the case further.
