Senior IPS officer S.K. Priyadarshi given additional charge of OPHWC

Bhubaneswar, Oct 24: The Odisha Government has appointed senior IPS officer S.K. Priyadarshi to take on additional responsibilities as the Chief Managing Director (CMD) of the Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (OPHWC), while continuing in his current role as Additional Director General of Police.

A formal notification from the Home Department confirms this decision, stating that Priyadarshi will hold the additional charge until further notice. The notification reads, “S.K. Priyadarshi, IPS (R.R. 1995), Additional D.G. of Police, Modernization, Odisha is allowed to remain in additional charge of CMD, OPHWC in addition to his own duties until further orders.”

S.K. Priyadarshi brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the police commissioner for the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate. His leadership is expected to bolster the operations and initiatives of the OPHWC as he balances these critical positions in the state’s law enforcement framework.
