Odisha’s Sushree selected for BCCI Senior Women’s Challenger Trophy

Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: Sushree Dibyadarshini has become the sole cricketer from Odisha to secure a spot in the Senior Women’s One-Day Challenger Trophy.
The women’s selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has formed five teams – A, B, C, D, and E – for the tournament. Sushree has been placed in Team D for the competition, which is scheduled to take place in Chennai from January 5 to 15.
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, where each team plays against the others once. The top two teams will advance to the final. Team D, featuring Sushree, will face Team C on January 5, Team E on January 9, Team B on January 11, and Team A on January 13.
The M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk will host the final on January 15, along with select league-stage matches, including Team D's encounter with Team A. All matches are scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
