Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi enjoys tea and talks in Keonjhar
Bhubaneswar, Sept 21: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is currently on a three-day visit to Keonjhar, where he took a moment to unwind and reconnect with his past. On Saturday, he met old friends and honored a local tea stall owner.
Taking a break from his busy itinerary, the CM visited Keonjhar Stadium, where he shared a cup of tea at his favorite stall, a place he has frequented for years. After a morning walk, he enjoyed black tea with friends, reminiscing about shared memories. He recognized the tea stall owner, affectionately known as Bideshi Babu, for his remarkable service spanning over sixty years, stating, “I have come here to have ‘desi’ tea from ‘Bideshi Babu.’”
Throughout his visit, Majhi reflected on past morning strolls and engaging discussions with a diverse group, including journalists, retired officials, athletes, and locals, all focused on Keonjhar’s development. He assured the community that his government would take all necessary steps for the district’s comprehensive progress, aiming to eliminate poverty and effectively harness the region's natural resources for growth and prosperity.
