Odisha to roll out 'Kutumba' pension scheme for kin of independence heroes

Bhubaneswar, Aug 9: In a notable announcement, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi revealed on Friday that the state government is set to launch a pension scheme for the families of freedom fighters through the ‘Kutumba’ initiative.

Addressing the gathering on Kranti Divas, which commemorates the Quit India Movement, Chief Minister Majhi highlighted the enduring call for such support.
