SOA signs MoU with KFin Technologies to boost talent development

Bhubaneswar, March 22: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hyderabad-based KFin Technologies Limited to enhance talent development, strengthen industry-academia collaboration, and promote local hiring. The agreement was formalized on Friday with the goal of bridging the gap between education and industry needs.

KFin Technologies, a leading provider of financial services, IT, and ITeS-related solutions, is committed to fostering skill development, knowledge sharing, and employment opportunities for students. Under the terms of the MoU, which will remain in effect for 60 months, the partnership will facilitate workshops, skill-building programs, internships, and pre-placement opportunities for students. Additionally, it aims to recruit skilled local talent to enhance KFin’s workforce.

The collaboration will also extend support for faculty development programs and research initiatives while promoting co-branded academic programs. Both institutions aim to strengthen industry-academia relations to foster future research and innovation.

The MoU was signed by SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda and KFin Technologies’ Chief People Officer Sujay Puthran. Other key attendees included SOA’s Prof. Prasanta Kumar Patra, Ripti Ranjan Dash, Abhisek Patnaik, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Razaque. Representing KFin Technologies were Chief Technical Officer Venkata Giri Vonkayala and Vice-President & Head of Data and Analytics-IT Subarna Mishra.
