Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: Odisha Manaska, a monthly discussion platform initiated by Bhubaneswar-based grassroots think tank All Things Odisha, has completed one successful year and entered its 13th edition on Sunday. Known for its carefully curated topics focusing on Odisha and Odia identity, the forum has drawn praise for creating a vibrant space for dialogue and community engagement.

The 13th edition was hosted at the head office of ExtraOdinari and Safe Odisha For Her in Saheed Nagar, drawing enthusiastic participation from diverse age groups and professions. The theme for this session—“Independence as a Spectrum: From Personal Freedoms to Collective Rights”—encouraged participants to reflect on their lived experiences and perspectives while upholding the democratic spirit of respectful debate.

The session was moderated by Sandip Bal and Sonali Priyadarsini. Noted historian and author Anil Dhir, along with several youngsters including Akankshita, Anwesha, Pratiksha, Chanchal, Mitra, and Swatiswarupa, enriched the dialogue with their insights.

Launched in August 2024, Odisha Manaska has grown into a unique platform where people share ideas, concerns, and aspirations related to Odisha and identity, nurturing collective wisdom through open discussions.
