Junior Engineer found dead inside burnt car in Bargarh under mysterious circumstances

Bhubaneswar, May 16: In a shocking incident, a junior engineer was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a burnt vehicle near Haladipali Chhak in Bargarh district of Odisha on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Chandrasekhar Jhadia, who was posted at the Barpali block of the district.
According to sources, the stationary vehicle had been parked along the roadside for several hours, raising suspicion among passers-by. Upon noticing smoke and a foul smell emanating from the car, they immediately informed the police. A police team reached the spot and discovered Jhadia’s charred body inside the vehicle.
The exact cause of death remains unclear. The body has been sent for postmortem, while a scientific team has been called in to examine the scene. The vehicle has been seized by Barapali police as part of the investigation.
Jhadia’s wife said he had left home on Thursday afternoon but failed to answer calls through the night. “I was shocked to find him dead. I have no idea how this happened,” she said. Police have not ruled out foul play, and further investigation is underway.
