Catch the cosmic show: Pathani Samanta Planetarium hosts planetary parade

Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: A spectacular planetary parade will grace the night sky from January 21 to 31, showcasing a rare alignment of six planets: Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.

This celestial event will allow stargazers to witness these planets arranged in a straight line, creating a stunning display for all to enjoy. Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn will be easily visible to the naked eye, while Neptune and Uranus will require binoculars or telescopes for a clearer view.

To enhance this astronomical experience, the Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar, under the Department of Science & Technology, has made special arrangements for visitors. Stargazers can take advantage of this unique opportunity to observe the planets on all days except Mondays, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
