SOA University improves national ranking to 14th; continues to excel in dental sciences and law

Bhubaneswar, Aug 12: Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has achieved a notable milestone by securing the 14th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2024, as announced by the Ministry of Education on Monday.
This marks an improvement from its previous 15th place in the university category. The rankings were unveiled by Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar in New Delhi.
In the latest rankings, SOA has also advanced to 24th position in the overall category, up two spots from last year. Since the NIRF rankings began in 2016, SOA has consistently been among the top 25 institutions in the country, and has been in the top 20 universities on seven occasions.
The university saw progress in various categories: it moved up one place to 26th in engineering, retained its 9th position in dental sciences, and was ranked 21st in medical sciences and 9th in law. In management sciences, SOA is placed 62nd, while it ranks 50th in research.
SOA's faculties of dental sciences and law continue to be among the top ten institutions nationwide. The university was reaccredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the highest Grade A++ in 2022.
SOA’s Founder President, Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, expressed his satisfaction with the rankings and praised the university’s faculty, researchers, and staff for their dedication. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda also thanked everyone involved and set a goal for the university to be among the top ten in the country within the next five years.
