Prime Minister Modi's fourth Odisha visit signals BJP's election push
Bhubaneswar, May 22: In a bid to bolster BJP's campaign efforts for the final phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit the state once again on May 29.
According to BJP's election in-charge for Odisha, Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, Modi is scheduled to address large public gatherings in Balasore and Kendrapada Parliamentary constituencies.
This marks Modi's fourth visit to Odisha within a month, underscoring BJP's concerted efforts to strengthen its electoral prospects in the state. Prior to Modi's upcoming tour, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, a key figure in the BJP, is also scheduled to visit Odisha on May 25. Shah is expected to address election rallies in Baripada, Chandbali, Korei, and Nimapara (Jagatsinghpur).
Modi's previous visits to Odisha occurred on May 6, 10, and 19, during which he conducted two major roadshows in Bhubaneswar and Puri and addressed five election rallies across the state.
The Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha are being conducted in four phases, with the first two rounds held on May 13 and 20. The remaining phases are scheduled for May 25 and June 1, with vote counting set for June 4.
