Naveen leads BJD campaign in Nayagarh, appeals for strong electoral support

Bhubaneswar, May 22: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, also the President of Biju Janata Dal (BJD), conducted a campaign for his party candidates in Nayagarh, situated within the Puri Lok Sabha constituency, on Wednesday.

During a public gathering, Patnaik urged the people to support both the BJD MP and MLA candidates by casting a significant number of votes in their favor during the elections.

In a veiled criticism aimed at the opposition, Patnaik remarked that leaders from rival parties are propagating falsehoods and displaying insincere concern for Odisha.

He queried the audience about the advantages of various welfare initiatives such as BSKY, Mission Shakti, Mamata, LAccMI Bus, 5T School Transformation, Students’ Scholarship, KALIA, and Madhubabu Pension Yojana. Patnaik then posed the question, "Is Naveen Patnaik beneficial for you?" to which the audience enthusiastically responded in the affirmative.

Patnaik announced that the BJD government plans to offer free electricity starting from July, alleviating the burden of electricity bills for the residents. He also inquired about the progress of projects related to the Jagannath temple and Maa Samalei, receiving a positive response from the gathered crowd.

Addressing the audience, senior BJD leader and 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian highlighted Chief Minister Patnaik's ambitious investment plan for Nayagarh, aimed at fostering substantial industrial growth and providing employment opportunities for the youth.
