PM Modi to attend Odisha BJP Govt’s first anniversary celebration on June 20

Bhubaneswar, June 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on June 20 to attend a grand event commemorating the first anniversary of the BJP-led government in the state, headed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The announcement was made on Saturday by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari.
Speaking to the media, Minister Pujari stated that the anniversary celebration, originally planned for June 12, has been rescheduled to June 20 to accommodate the Prime Minister’s availability. “The final schedule of the programme will be released shortly. We are preparing for a grand celebration to mark the completion of one year of good governance and progress under the BJP government,” he said.
During a recent visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi extended formal invitations to Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Invitations were also sent to BJP national president J.P. Nadda and several other senior party leaders and dignitaries.
The event is expected to highlight the government’s achievements over the past year and reinforce the strong ties between the state and central leadership.
