Pending beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana to receive financial aid on April 22 and 23

Bhubaneswar, April 7: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday announced that women who are eligible but have not yet received benefits under the Subhadra Yojana will receive the funds in their bank accounts on April 22 and 23. This will follow a verification exercise aimed at identifying and excluding ineligible applicants.
Parida revealed that around 1.7 lakh fresh applications were submitted after the March 31 deadline. These applications have been forwarded to district administrations for door-to-door verification. Based on the outcome of this verification, eligible women will be provided assistance on the said dates.
She noted that some women had received the first installment but were later marked ineligible after taking loans and declaring income above ₹5 lakh through IT returns. To address such cases, a new verification process will begin after April 14 to ensure genuine beneficiaries are not left out.
No new applications will be accepted. The third installment of assistance will be distributed after the verification of around 1 lakh previously excluded women and those found ineligible from the recent batch of applicants.
