Odisha launches Subhadra Yojana portal ahead of September 17 inauguration

Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida officially launched the Subhadra Yojana portal on Monday. Interested beneficiaries can now access detailed information about the scheme at the official website: subhadra.odisha.gov.in.

Parida announced that the Subhadra Yojana, a key initiative of the BJP government, will be formally inaugurated on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The distribution of the scheme's first installment will also begin on that date.

The portal will provide comprehensive details about the scheme. Offline application forms are currently available, with collection set to start on September 4. Applicants must submit a photocopy of their Aadhaar card along with the application form at Mo Seba Kendras or Jana Seba Kendras. There is no fee for submitting the offline application. For any queries, applicants can call the toll-free number 14678 for assistance.

Application Procedure:

  • Eligible women can apply online via the SUBHADRA portal or offline using printed forms.
  • Pre-printed forms will be available free of charge at various locations, including Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices, Mo Seba Kendras, and Common Service Centres.
  • Completed forms should be submitted at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra or Common Service Centre.
  • Discrepancies between the submitted form and Aadhaar details will be resolved based on the Aadhaar information.
  • Applications will be verified against government databases and through field enquiries if necessary.

  • Beneficiaries have the option to opt out of the scheme, allowing the benefits to support other women in Odisha through the SUBHADRA Portal.
