Odisha Govt extends Plus III admission deadline to June 1 amid CHSE result delay

Bhubaneswar, May 20: In view of the delay in the announcement of the CHSE Plus II Examination-2025 results, the Odisha government has decided to extend the timeline for admission into Plus III (Undergraduate) courses in degree colleges across the state. The Higher Education Department issued a notification on Tuesday confirming the extension.
As per the revised schedule, the deadline for e-admission into UG (+3) courses in Degree Higher Education Institutions—including self-financing and Sanskrit colleges—for the academic session 2025-26 has now been extended till June 1, 2025. Earlier, the last date for submitting the online Common Application Form (CAF) was May 21, 2025.
Applicants can now fill and submit their CAF through the official website www.samsodisha.gov.in up to 11:45 PM on June 1, 2025. This extension is expected to provide relief to thousands of students awaiting their Plus II results, ensuring they do not miss the opportunity for timely college admissions.
The decision was taken following a discussion between School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond and Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, who mutually agreed on the need to revise the timeline considering the delay in examination results.
