Odisha extends deadline for UG admission application to June 4

Bhubaneswar, June 2: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has extended the last date for submission of the Undergraduate (UG) Common Application Form (CAF) for Plus III admissions till June 4, 2025. The move comes in response to numerous requests from students, parents, and guardians seeking more time to complete the application process.

As per the revised schedule, eligible candidates can register for admissions into various Plus III (UG) courses for the academic year 2025-26 through the official portal samsodisha.gov.in. The online registration will remain open until 11:45 PM on June 4.

The department also announced that OTP-based editing of submitted CAFs began on May 21 and will continue until the extended deadline. During this period, candidates can make corrections to their forms and upload their Plus II or equivalent marks.

For students who appeared under the CHSE Odisha board, their marks will be automatically integrated from the official CHSE database. However, applicants from non-CHSE boards must manually enter their marks in the specified sections.

The submission of CAFs for UG admission had originally started on April 16 and has seen a strong response statewide.
