Odisha CM Mohan Majhi's public grievance hearing begins July 1

Bhubaneswar, June 29: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will commence public grievance hearings starting July 1 in Bhubaneswar. The hearings will take place at the CM’s Grievance Cell, located at Unity-V in the state capital, starting at 11 am. Registration for the hearings will be conducted on-site from 9 am to 12 noon on the same day.

Members of the public who wish to present their grievances to the Chief Minister are encouraged to arrive at the venue and register themselves for the session. The General Administration and Public Grievance department underscored the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that all grievances addressed during these hearings will be documented on the Jana Sunani portal for record-keeping purposes.

Earlier directives from the GA and PG department indicated that the Chief Minister's directive has reinstated the weekly public grievance hearings and joint sessions, effective July 1. This includes joint hearings conducted by Collectors and SPs in their respective districts, aimed at promptly addressing public concerns.
