New IndiGo flights connecting Mumbai and Jharsuguda set to start March 1

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: IndiGo, a budget airline, has announced the launch of new flights connecting Mumbai to Jharsuguda, set to commence on March 1, 2025. This new route aims to enhance inter-state connectivity and foster greater trade and economic opportunities for both regions, according to the airline's statement.

The announcement has been well-received by air travelers who had been requesting an expansion of services. With these new flights, residents of Jharsuguda and its surrounding areas will have easier access to one of India’s major metropolitan cities.

IndiGo's new daily service will operate with flights departing from Mumbai at 10:55 AM, arriving in Jharsuguda at 1:00 PM. The return flight will leave Jharsuguda at 2:20 PM, reaching Mumbai at 4:15 PM. This route will be IndiGo's fourth direct connection to Jharsuguda, joining existing services to Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata.

Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo's head of global sales, emphasized the importance of connecting Jharsuguda to Mumbai, a vital commercial hub, stating that this initiative aims to establish Jharsuguda as a significant gateway for regional growth and development.
