CM Majhi to lead delegation in Delhi, promoting investment opportunities in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Oct 1: Following a recent trip to Jharkhand, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to visit Delhi for two days, starting Wednesday, to attract investors for the upcoming 4th edition of the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave. This flagship global investors summit is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar on January 28-29, 2025. He will be accompanied by a delegation from the state Industries Department.
An interactive session led by the Chief Minister will be held at Hotel Taj on October 3, as per an invitation from Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of Industries. This event, organized in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), aims to highlight investment opportunities in Odisha. The invitation emphasizes that this session will offer a great opportunity to engage with the new leadership of the state government.
During the unveiling of the investment summit logo on September 27, Majhi reaffirmed Odisha's dedication to fulfilling its industrial goals through strategic policies, enhanced infrastructure, and a business-friendly climate. He highlighted several ambitious initiatives launched by his administration, including the creation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) parks in every district, the establishment of an FDI Park, multimodal logistics parks, and the development of new industrial corridors to support a robust industrial ecosystem.
