Arabinda Padhee appointed acting Chief Administrator of SJTA

Bhubaneswar, May 24: Senior IAS officer Arabinda Kumar Padhee assumed the role of Chief Administrator at the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri on Friday.

Padhee took over the responsibilities in the absence of Chief Administrator Veer Vikram Jadav, who is currently on leave.

The Odisha government issued a notification stating, “The present Chief Administrator of SJTA Vir Vikram Yadav is on vacation. Due to this, Arabinda Padhee has been given this charge.”

After paying respects to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra, Padhee assumed office at the SJTA headquarters.

During his tenure, Padhee engaged in discussions with SJTA officials regarding the management of various rituals, including Naba Joubana Darshan, Netra Utsav, and Rath Yatra ceremonies. He also inspected the progress of chariot construction at Ratha Khala before concluding his visit.
