Naveen Patnaik dismisses BJP's allegations of ill health, calls them lies

Bhubaneswar, May 24: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD leader Naveen Patnaik has strongly refuted the BJP's allegations regarding his health, denouncing them as baseless rumors.

In an interview with a national news agency, Patnaik asserted, “The Bharatiya Janata Party's fabrications have a limit. As evident, I am in robust health, having actively campaigned across the state for nearly a month.”

A video excerpt of Patnaik's remarks to the news agency was shared by Rajya Sabha Member and BJD national spokesperson Manas Mangaraj.

During a poll campaign in Sambalpur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah suggested Patnaik's retirement due to his age and purported health concerns, pledging that the BJP would appoint a young, Odia-speaking 'bhumiputra' as CM if voted into power by the people of the state.
