100 days of BJP government: Odisha CM Majhi reports on achievements

Bhubaneswar, Sept 19: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today highlighted the achievements of his government as it marked its first 100 days in office. At a special event in Puri, Majhi emphasized that the BJP government has adhered to its election manifesto promises within the stipulated timeframe. He reiterated the administration's commitment to realizing the vision of a 'Viksit Odisha' by 2036.
Majhi reported that the government had swiftly addressed key issues, including reopening four gates of the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and its Ratna Bhandar, a 12th-century shrine. A fund of Rs 500 crore has been established to manage the Jagannath Temple effectively, and Rs 200 crore has been allocated for the preservation of Odia cultural heritage.
During the event held at Sharadhabali, Majhi also introduced the Subhadra Yojana, a financial assistance scheme for women, fulfilling a promise made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government's stringent anti-corruption measures, noting that 71 corruption cases were filed within the first 100 days, leading to the arrest of 58 officials, including 17 Class I and seven Class II officers.
