President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha on March 24-25

Bhubaneswar, March 12: President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha from March 24 to participate in several significant events across the state. According to official sources, she will arrive in Bhubaneswar and then proceed to the revered Nilamadhaba Temple in Kantilo, Nayagarh district, for a darshan. She is also scheduled to attend the convocation ceremony of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack.
As per her itinerary, the President will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at 1:30 PM on March 24. She will then board a chopper to Paltan Padia in Kantilo and visit the Nilamadhaba temple. Additionally, she will travel to Dhanchangada and Kaliapalli to attend the annual function of the Bharatiya Vishwavasu Shabar Samaj Foundation as the chief guest. After the event, she will return to Bhubaneswar and stay at Raj Bhavan for the night.
On March 25, President Murmu will preside over the Ravenshaw University convocation in Cuttack. She will also lay the foundation stone for a development project at Ravenshaw Girls’ High School. Following this, she will pay tribute to Adikabi Sarala Das by garlanding his statue in Tulsipur. Later, she will attend the Kalinga Ratna Award-2024 ceremony at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, organized by Sarala Sahitya Sansad. After completing her engagements, she will return to Bhubaneswar before departing for Delhi at 5:30 PM.
