President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha for two days from October 23

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha starting October 23. As part of her itinerary, she will travel to Puri the following day to serve as the chief guest at the 75th-anniversary celebrations of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. The event will take place on October 24 from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm.
This visit follows her previous trip to Odisha in July, during which she attended significant cultural and social events. On July 6, she participated in the 96th Death Anniversary observance of Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das in Bhubaneswar. The next day, she witnessed the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri.
Her July schedule also included a visit to Udayagiri Caves, where she interacted with students from Bibhuti Kanungo College of Art and Crafts and Utkal University of Culture. Additionally, she inaugurated the Divine Retreat Centre of the Brahma Kumaris at Haridamada village and launched the ‘Lifestyle for Sustainability’ initiative on July 8.
