Odisha CM thanks PM Modi for enhancing success of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas
Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday for attending the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Bhubaneswar, which spanned three days. CM Majhi emphasized that PM Modi's participation significantly enhanced the event's success and made it particularly memorable.
In a message posted on his 'X' account, CM Majhi stated, "Your gracious presence at 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas' has made this event even more successful and special. Your guidance has inspired hope and enthusiasm among all the NRIs present here, motivating them to contribute to the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. I personally thank you for this."
PM Modi officially inaugurated the convention on Thursday, marking the first time the event has been held in Odisha. Approximately 5,000 delegates from various parts of the world participated in the grand gathering. During his address, PM Modi praised Odisha's emergence as a dynamic venue for global events, highlighting the state's rich heritage as a reflection of India's cultural richness.
Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated four exhibitions at the convention, including 'Vishwaroop Ram,' which focuses on the legacy of the Ramayana worldwide, 'Diaspora’s Contribution to Technology,' 'Bharat Bharatiya: Swadesh Pardes,' showcasing the migration of people from Gujarat to Oman, and an exhibition highlighting the heritage and culture of Odisha.
