Odisha CM thanks PM Modi and Vaishnaw for six major railway projects

Bhubaneswar, Aug 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving six major railway projects aimed at enhancing the railway infrastructure in Odisha.
On his X account, CM Majhi expressed: “I want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on behalf of the people of Odisha for sanctioning six significant railway projects. These initiatives will not only strengthen the railway infrastructure in Odisha but also promote development in our aspirational and tribal districts. Under the double engine government, the interests of 4.5 million Odiyans will be advanced, and our vision of establishing Odisha as a hub of Eastern development will be realized.”
It is noteworthy that the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, has approved eight railway projects from the Ministry of Railways, with an estimated total cost of approximately Rs. 24,657 crore. Among these, four projects are exclusively located in Odisha, and two more cover regions within the state.
